ISO standards audit: In July 2017 Halifax Consulting and Halifax Translation successfully completed another audit for standardisation in the fields of management and translation. Since the first certification and application of the ISO 9001 and EN 15038 standards in 2012, Halifax has seriously improved its operations. We continue to focus on raising the quality of the services we provide through improving internal quality control capacities while maintaining the human aspect of working with clients and translators, and by continuing to avoid involvement in any unethical practices.
Next year, Halifax is due to switch from the European standard EN15038 to the more universal standard ISO17100, which is gradually replacing the European norm. ISO17100 is based on EN15038, with some developments.
Bureau Veritas, a reputable international certification body whose representative carried out the audit, congratulated both staff and management on their commitment to continuous company development.
